Slow Connection

I've been struggling with my internet since the past week so I can hardly post. While on the process of publishing it, it would stop and returns an error. It's terribly slow. ISP said there's trouble with their connection lines. I guess it was struck or downed by the typhoon.

I tried my connection today and it seems it's back to normal. I was able to go to the webpages I frequented. I usually get online news from Inquirer and this site barely loads the page last week but it seems to load faster now. I guess business is now back to normal :)

Am doing extra mile for my top droppers this July. It took me quite some time to do this but it's worth it. These people took extra effort to visit my site and drop some EC's so this is my way of thanking them.

Do you like it? You can have one every month. Just continue the drops to be on top ten and let's fill this site with your links ^_^.

Have a Nice Day!

My Bad!

I blogged last July 30 that I will still be posting late those Top Droppers for the month of June. I tried looking for the file in my partition drive but I cannot find them anymore! So I thought I would just do it manually since I promised I would post it. I tried going back farther but entrecard would only show me as far back on July 15. I wasn't able to update my blog for almost a month because I moved and had to set everything back. I also switched connection to broadband from prepaid and had to reinstall the OS so I am not sure if the file was part of those files that's been purged.

Do you guys know how to backtrack in entrecard top droppers? If you do, please let me know.

To my June droppers, my apologies.

I tried, my best, but I guess my best wasn't good enuf, just wanna make u smyl ^_^

Nation Mourns Democracy Icon

It's a sad day for Filipinos. Today, Filipinos all over the world mourns the death of their beloved former President Corazon C. Aquino. She's been ill since last year but early this month, she was reported to be in a very serious condition and was confined to Makati Medical Center. She was diagnosed having colon cancer and was initially informed by her doctors that she had only three months to live. She undergone chemotherapy and her body positively responded to the treatment buying her more time.

While carrying the burden of her health condition, she actively participated in Philippines' political issues, to speak out for the nation, to oppose the amendment of the constitution which was drafted during her time of presidency. She was vocal against the current state of the nation and urged Filipinos to pray during these tying times.

She will long be remembered for her contributions to the nation especially during the People Power revolt in 1986 liberating the Philippines from a dictatorial government. President Aquino was named by Time Magazine as the 1986 Woman of the Year. She was the first female president of the Philippines and Asia's first. She's one the icons of democracy in the world one of the world's influential leaders.

We will surely miss your presence and inspiration Madame President and we're honored to have lived our life enjoying your most precious gift of hardwork, the reinstatement of our stolen democracy.

Rest in heavenly peace, Madame President.

Some Entrecard Updates

I just received a message from Entrecard that they are offering credits for cash with additional EC bonus and this lasts just until midnight of August 1, CST. Hmmn.. this must be hot, real hot or is it??? The following are their offers (taken from their email) :

10000 Entrecard Credits - USD$56.00 (get another 5,000 credits bonus!)

25000 Entrecard Credits - USD$125.00 (get another 12,000 credits bonus!)

Available now only until August 1st! Get your Entrecard credits today!

You can also order HERE.

- So their new marketing department is getting pro-active now in selling credits. They must have something brewing up, or maybe to finance their remaining CashOuts? Not bad. I liked the idea of cashing in some extra credits but I guess Graham’s paid ads idea didn’t work out to some entrecarders like me but I don’t think the idea is bad at all, I think he just don’t have the right scheme for it. I’ve withdrawn my request for cashout though because I am having issues with my PayPal account.

Good News

According to the email sent by Ms. Cindy Ung, the Director of Business Development, we can now exchange credits among users amounting to 25K. This is a good development for entrecarders who are holding promotions or contests for a speedy facilitation of credit transfers. It is not stated though if this is valid for a day or a week so I guess we just have to try and see.

I missed the opportunity to blog for almost 2 months now and time have pretty much changed things fast, including the management of Entrecard. I noticed it’s now managed by Ziprunner. I tried searching for this company but I was unlucky. I tried from the search results and it just made me browse sites but am not getting any leads. I got tired searching from the results. Whoever they are, all the best for their company and for Entrecard.

Hello!

I’d like to thank those who visited my site and those who managed to drop some EC’s even if I am away for almost 2 months. I moved recently and just had my connection back just more than a week I guess and I was busy J or lazy to update the site but I managed to return drops since then. I always have a list of my top droppers so for last month, sorry if I haven’t posted your links as promised but even if it’s too late I would still post it. You keep my site alive so I would be glad to return the favor. I am hoping I could post it

See you around and enjoy bloghopping!

Are You Ready To Get Binged?

I usually go to Live.com to search for articles online until recently. Actually, I am still a fan, except that it’s got it’s new name and look. I was surprised when I typed in “live.com” on the address bar, it got me redirected to a familiar page, but with more features. It’s called “bing”. So it’s called bing now. If you’ve been googling all the time, you might wanna try the alternative. Here's how it look's like:

The site is pretty much streamlined and minimalistic. I am a Yahoo! ever since because I can get instant news from the page and they’re updated regularly. The side bars also offers options for you to do something other than the search and the daily pictures are just magnificent. When you hover your mouse somewhere below the middle portion of the picture, it activates another button to give you an insight about the picture. I am quite interested with the facts as well so since I have frequented the site, even before when it's still Live.com. Try it and see if it works for'ya.

Microsoft released the Windows 7 Release Candidate on its website. Before you even begin with the download, try to consider checking on the specs of your computer first to make sure you have enough room for this. You may also want to check on the things you need to know about the important details about the RC. You can choose from the 32-bit and the 64-bit version. If you're not sure which one to download, you may check here.

The Day Pacquiao Become A Legend

People are glued to their television. People at work wishing they could go home early to watch the game between the ultimate “Pacman” Manny Pacquiao against the “Hitman” Ricky Hatton. That the day would be over the soonest so they could watch the replay.

The game started around 11:30am Philippine Time. It is dubbed as the “Battle of the East and the West”. In the first round, Pacquiao landed left and right hand jabs at Hatton knocking him twice but he was able to recover a bit. In the second round, he got knocked out eventually lying flat on his back. He must’ve been surprised with the right hand jabs of Pacquiao leaving himself in the open so Pacquiao chanced on him with a powerful jab on his right face. The referee finally ended the fight cementing Pacquiao legacy as the greatest fighter ever. His fame is now compared to that of Mohamad Ali.

For a moment, it’s like the time stopped. People around the world tuned in to watch the fight that carves the name of Manny Pacquiao into the world of boxing history that would possibly last for decades. Even after the game, people stay tuned to their T.V.’s to watch the replay of the game. This may post another record breaking viewer rating for the stations covering the game. When I was on my way home around past 12pm, the usual traffic intersections seemed like a good venue for street basketball. Only few cars and jeepneys traversing and it sure is a good thing for me and other commuters to return home early, thanks to Manny!

Once again, Manny made us Filipinos proud! Thanks to you Manny and God Bless to you and your family!
